Vladimir Kocharyan

Vladimir Kocharyan was born and raised in Yakutia in a family with an Armenian father and a Yakut mother. Over the past ten years, he has been working as a program selector for numerous festivals, educational film projects and retrospectives. He is a creative producer at the St. Petersburg documentary film studio Lendok and executive director of Iskusstvo Kino, the oldest Russian film magazine. He works as a curator for the Golden Apricot Film Festival. In 2024, his book dedicated to Yakut cinema was published in Russia.

Dechen Roder

Dechen Roder was born in Bumthang, Bhutan. She is one of the few female directors in this kingdom. She began by shooting short documentaries and videos, thanks to her company, Dakinny Productions, founded in 2009. In 2015, she wrote and directed 3 Year 3 Month Retreat, selected in several festivals, then Dakini presented and awarded in 2018 at FICA. I, The Song is her second feature film. She is also the organizer and founder of the Beskop Tshechu film festival.

Jiang Xiaoxuan

Jiang Xiaoxuan, of Manchu origin, was born and raised in Inner Mongolia, China. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film and Television from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University (NYU). In 2022, she directed a short film, Graveyard of Horses. To Kill A Mongolian Horse is her first feature-length fiction film.
