KANG Yi-kwan

Kang Yi-kwan, after graduating in sociology from the University of Seoul, made his film debut by participating in the production of Three Friends in 1996. In 1999, he directed the short film A Boy's Poem and was assistant director on Memento Mori. It was not until 2005 that he completed his first feature film, Sakwa, which was selected in several festivals. In 2010, he directed the short film Two Teeth, then, in 2012, Juvenile Offender, which was awarded in several festivals, and, in 2019, Let Us Meet Now.

Ida Panahandeh

Ida Panahandeh was born in 1979 in Tehran. She graduated in filmmaking and photography. She began making films while she was a student at Tehran University of Arts and directed several short films. She then directed TV films for Iranian state television.

Na Gyi

Na Gyi

Na Gyi was born in 1981 in Yangon, Burma. He received his higher education at Edgeware Academy and Morley College in London, where he studied computer science and digital filmmaking. He received the Best Cinematographer Award at the ASEAN International Film Festival (AIFF) in 2019 for his feature film Mi. He then made What Happened to the Wolf with his wife. After the February 2021 coup in Burma, the military junta captured and violently imprisoned thousands of people who had participated in the anti-coup movement. Many protesters were forced to flee the country, including Na Gyi. The ruling junta issued arrest warrants for him. He subsequently made three short films in hiding and in exile.
