Tawfik Alzaidi
Tawfik Alzaidi is a prominent and influential member of the new wave of Saudi cinema.
He directed his first short film, Le crime fabriqué, in 2006, then Le silence in 2009. In 2010, he wrote and directed Exit, then in 2014, Quatre couleurs, and in 2015, L’Autre.
Norah, his first feature film, was selected for Un Certain Regard in Cannes in 2024.

Song Chuan
Song Chuan was born in 1980 in Yunnan Province, southern China. He earned a master's degree in film directing from the National Academy of Chinese Theatre Arts in Beijing in 2006. He began writing and directing films and documentaries for television. In 2012, his first feature film Huan Huan was shot with non-professional actors from his home village. His first professionally produced fiction film, Ciao Ciao, was supported by the World Cinema Fund and participated in the Atelier de la Cinéfondation in Cannes. In 2022, he directed Best Unsaid.
