Guan Hu was born in 1968 in Beijing. He studied directing at the Beijing Film Academy. He began his professional career in the 90s in both film and television. He directed very popular television series in China.
He won the Cyclo d’Or with Cow at the 16th FICA in 2010.

Huo Xin, a graduate of the Drama Literature Department of the Central Academy of Drama in Beijing, is a screenwriter and filmmaker. She has written or co-written films such as: Shower in 1999, Kung Fu Hustle in 2004, Full Circle in 2012 and Crimes of Passion in 2013. Bound in Heaven is her directorial debut.
