Nora Twomey was born in 1971 in Cork, Ireland. After studying in Middleton, she leaves school and go to work.She goes back to studies in the animation department of Ballyfermot College. She is graduated in 1995. After that, she works for Brown Bags Film, then co-creates and leads Cartoon Saloon. She supervise the development of every project and directs short films. Parvana, a childhood in Afghanistan is her first feature film.
