Ching Siu-Tung was born in 1952 amidst an artistic family. He starts as a stuntman for Shaw Brother productions, before becoming an action coordinator and director for TV productions.
In 1987, he directs A Chinese Ghost Story which gets rewarded in many International Film festivals and becomes a worldwide success.
