In a world where human beings and mermaids coexist, Stephan, an ordinary office worker, meets Chao, a princess from the mermaid kingdom. What will become of their unlikely love story ? “At first glance, ChaO is a humorous love story involving a mermaid and a human, but it also carries a message of tolerance. In a world rife with conflict, it’s important to understand all the different cultures. We live in a world where humankind harms fish for profit. Chao, the mermaid princess, decides to overcome their differences so as to live with a human. Their mutual understanding leads to the construction of an imaginary city where both their cultures exist.
