Aoki Yasuhiro 

Aoki Yasuhiro was born in 1968. He is a director, animator, and animation director based in Tokyo. Since the 2000s, he has played an active role at Studio 4°C. He has built a strong reputation for his visual style: fluid character animations, clean yet detailed forms, and striking use of light and shadow. He directed the short films Kung Fu Love and In the Shadows from the Batman: Gotham Stories series. ChaO is his first feature film.
