Tenzing Sonam and Ritu Sarin

Tenzing Sonam was born to Tibetan parents exiled in Darjeeling, India. His partner, Ritu Sarin, is an Indian filmmaker and artist. They have worked together for over thirty years, exploring the issues of exile, identity, culture, and nationalism faced by Tibetans.
