Sammo Hung

Sammo Hung, real name Hung Kam-bo, was born in 1952 in Hong Kong. After studying for seven years at the Academy of Chinese Theatre Studies, he discovered cinema at Golden Harvest thanks to Raymond Chaw. He worked on many action and martial arts films. In 1977, he shot his first film, The Steel Monk. He is a screenwriter, choreographer, filmmaker, producer and actor. He has directed nearly 40 films and acted in over 200.
