Lee Kwang-kuk 

Lee Kwang-kuk was born in 1975. He graduated in film from the Seoul Institute of Arts. He was Hong Sang-soo's assistant on Tale of Cinema, Woman on the Beach, My Friends' Wives, and Hahaha. He directed his first film in 2011, Romance Joe, which won several awards at the Busan Film Festival. A Matter of Interpretation, his second film, was in competition at FICA in 2015 and received the Inalco Award. In 2017, A Tiger in Winter was selected for competition at FICA. In 2022, he directed A Wing and a Prayer.
