Johnnie To

Johnnie To was born in Hong Kong in 1955. He worked for television as a producer and director. All About Ah Long, in 1989, was his first successful film. In 1993, he directed The Heroic Trio. In 1996, he founded his production company, Milkyway. In 1999, Mission established him as the undisputed master of the thriller. He shot nearly 80 films and was selected in the biggest international festivals.
