Jamyang Dorji

Jamyang Dorji was born in 1980 in Bhutan. He grew up in a monastery in India before turning to cinema. A self-taught filmmaker with a passion for cinema, he left monastic life to become an actor in Delhi and at the age of 20 directed his first feature film with limited resources.
