"I would like to sell my virginity". The publication of this message on the Facebook wall of an ordinary student called Sabitha generates an enormous reaction in the Kerala social sphere. Whether they are politicians, moralists, feminists or activists, everyone gets into action. Even lawyers and gynaecologists flood the field with their expert advice. The television channels and the police have sleepless nights. In the midst of all this turmoil, Sabitha's new announcement saying she would publically auction her virginity in front of the Secretariat is made public.

"Infringement of personal freedom and breaches of privacy have become commonplace these days. Mutual respect has disappeared. Ideologies have been reduced to mere words. Today, we no longer hesitate to chase the victims and hunt with the hounds...
