In the late 2000's, as the world feared that Iran might get the atomic bomb, Rachel, a former Mossad agent infiltrated into Tehran, disappeared without a trace. Thomas, her mission coordinator, had to find her somewhere between East and West, because it was imperative that Rachel should be brought back under the organisation’s control at all costs… or be eliminated. “A spy’s job isn’t just about shootouts and car chases. It’s a question of taking on another identity and living it to the full for an extended period of time. Faking daily life, putting yourself in danger, giving up normal life, constantly hiding the truth from those around you… Who could possibly want that? What sort of mind structure makes someone choose that way of life? Rachel is a woman with no roots, who grew up everywhere and nowhere. She’s a person with no particular ties to any country or any cause, who happened to be in Israel almost by chance.
