On the road leading to the village cemetery, a procession of women dressed in black brave the heat of the sun, clutching photos of their husbands, fathers, or sons. Some wear veils, others crosses, but all share the same grief, the result of a disastrous and pointless war. At the cemetery entrance, the procession splits in two: one Muslim, the other Christian. Against the backdrop of a country torn apart by war, Et maintenant on va où ? (Where do we go now?) tells the story of a group of women of all religions and their unwavering determination to protect their families and their village from outside threats. Demonstrating great ingenuity, inventing funny stratagems, united by an unwavering friendship, the women have only one goal: to distract the men's attention and make them forget their anger and their differences. But when events take a tragic turn, how far will they be willing to go to avoid losing those who remain?
