The World - SHIJIE

Tao’s dream has become true, she is in the World Park where world famous monuments are gathered in one single place close to Beijing : the Taj Mahal, the Eiffel Tower, Saint Mark Square, Big Ben, the Pyramids... Tao and her boy friend Taisheng, a security guard in the park, come from the northern provinces, they reached Beijing a few years ago. Their relationship is at a turning point. Taisheng is attracted by his friends’ sister, a fashion designer. Tao takes refuge in her infantile dreams while people expect her to behave as an adult woman. Her friends, dancers like her, are daily falling in love. Xiao Wei dreams of a future with her irresponsible boyfriend Niu. Youyou has affairs for professional purpose.
