Red Cliff - CHI BI

In 208 AD, Emperor Xian of Han reigns over China which is divided into three rival kingdoms. The ambitious Prime Minister Cao Cao dreams of putting himself on the throne of a unified empire and wages a merciless war against Shu, the kingdom of the south-west ruled by Liu Bei, the emperor's uncle. Liu Bei sends Zhuge Liang, his military advisor, as an emissary to the kingdom of Wu in order to try and convince King Sun Quan to join forces with him. At Wu, Zhuge Liang meets the viceroy Zhou Yu. The two men very quickly become friends and conclude an alliance pact.
