The Land of Morning Calm

Pitch

A young fisherman goes missing. By staging his own death, he had reckoned on an insurance payout and running away with his Vietnamese wife. The old captain from the village helps him to disappear and makes a false statement to the police. However, the police and the fisherman's mother relentlessly search for him, which affects the payment of the compensation. The captain who at first was well-intentioned becomes frustrated. With the same anger which once destroyed his daughter, he decides to put a stop to the whole affair.
