Tsao Shih-han 

Tsao Shih-han, originally from Kaohsiung, holds a master's degree in filmmaking from Taipei National University of the Arts. He was a student at the Golden Horse Film Academy in 2016. In 2022, he was selected for Berlinale Talents. His short films A Dream of Spring in 2017 and Neko and Flies in 2021 were both selected for international competition at the Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival. Neko and Flies was also nominated for the Golden Horse Awards, the Taipei Film Awards, and the Vancouver International Film Festival. Before the Bright Day is his first feature film.
