Saeed Roustayi  

Saeed Roustayi was born in Tehran in 1989. He graduated in filmmaking from Soureh Film University. He directed three short films, followed by a highly acclaimed documentary that won over a hundred awards. His first feature film, Life and a Day, released in 2016, won the nine main awards at the Fajr International Film Festival in Tehran. Leila's Brothers was selected for the official competition at Cannes in 2022, as was his latest film, Woman and Child, in 2025.
