Raman Chawla
Raman Chawla is a renowned festival programmer and curator with over thirty years of experience in the film industry. He began his career at the French Embassy in India as Deputy Audiovisual Attaché (1985–1995), playing a key role in developing Indo-French collaborations in film, television, and cultural media. In 1995, he founded Modern Times, a workshop dedicated to film, television, and theater, and then became Vice President of Osian’s Cinefan, dedicated to Asian cinema. In 1995, he created Modern Times, a workshop dedicated to cinema, television, and theater, then became vice president of Osian's Cinefan, dedicated to Asian and Arab cinema (2005–2015), contributing significantly to its influence. He is also a consultant for festivals such as Abu Dhabi, El Gouna, and Red Sea. Co-founder of the Chingari theater group, he is also
an accomplished stage actor. He is the president of the NETPAC jury.
