Rabden Yak

Rabden Yak is a director, screenwriter, and poet. In 2022, his debut short film, The Floating Wind, won Best Film at the 6th 86358 Short Film Week. It was also screened in the official selection of the 45th Moscow International Film Festival and nominated for the 6th Pingyao One Corner Fei Mu Honor. His first feature-length screenplay, When Will the Rain Stop, was selected for the 7th Pingyao International Film Festival. Another screenplay, When Will the Fog Disperse, garnered attention. He has also contributed to the production of films directed by Pema Tseden, including Jinpa, Balloon, Snow Leopard, and The Stranger, as well as One and Four, directed by Jigme Trinley.
