Patrick F. Campos

Patrick F. Campos is a film scholar, programmer-curator and associate professor at the University of the Philippines Film Institute. Recognized as one of the leading experts on Philippine and regional cinema, he has written and published articles on media, art and film. He is also the editor of Pelikula: A Journal of Philippine Cinema and Moving Image. He organizes the annual Tingin Southeast Asian Film Festival in Manila and co-organizes the biennial traveling conference of the Association for Southeast Asian Cinemas. He programs, jurors and serves on selection committees for various international festivals, including Singapore, Guanajuato, QCinema, Jogja Asian Film Festival, Asian Film Archive, Image Forum Tokyo, Minikino Bali, Cinemalaya, Cinema One Originals, SeaShorts Malaysia and Cinema Rehiyon, among others. He is also a member of the International Federation of Film Press (FIPRESCI).
