Park Huiju

Park Huiju is a South Korean filmmaker who lives between Seoul and London. After studying industrial design in Korea, she turned to documentary filmmaking and enrolled at the National Film and Television School (NFTS) in the UK, where she specialized in documentary directing. Her work, at the intersection of personal narrative and social issues, explores themes such as feminism, illness, trauma, and family dynamics. Welcome Home Freckles is her first short documentary.
