Mohammad Atebbai

Mohammad Atebbai was born in 1962 in Tehran. After studying cinema, he was responsible for screening Iranian films at international festivals and events at the Farabi Cinema Foundation for eight years and contributed to the promotion of new Iranian cinema. In 1997, he founded Iranian Independents, the first private and independent Iranian cinema-related company. For thirty-six years, Mohammad Atebbai has been actively involved in the international promotion and marketing of Iranian films. He is also a journalist and writer. He has been a jury member at numerous film festivals.
