Mani Haghighi  

Mani Haghighi was born in 1969. He studied philosophy before directing his first film, Abadan, in 2003. His second film, Men at Work, won awards at several international festivals. He also wrote the screenplays for Fireworks Wednesday and About Elly by Asghar Farhadi and Mahboub’s Sky by Dariush Mehrjui.
