Luisa Prudentino

Luisa Prudentino is a sinologist, specialist in Chinese cinema. Lecturer-Researcher at the University of Artois. Author of numerous articles and essays on the subject, in 2003, she published Le Regard des ombres, her first work entirely devoted to contemporary Chinese cinema. Today, in addition to her activities in the academic world, she organizes numerous festivals and conferences on Asian cinema and teaches the history of Chinese cinema, among others, at INALCO (Paris) and at the Institut de Sciences Po in Le Havre. Among her latest contributions, Le dictionnaire du cinéma chinois : Chine, Hong Kong, Taïwan. She presents films by Jia Zhang-ke.
