Kōji Fukada 

Kōji Fukada was born in Tokyo in 1980. He studied literature at Taisho University. In 1999, inspired by European cinema, he studied filmmaking at the Tokyo Film School. In 2001, he directed his first feature film, The Chair. In 2020, his project The Real Thing was selected for preview screening at Vesoul. In 2022, FICA paid tribute to him in his presence.
