Gavin Lee
Gavin Lee is a programmer and producer, as well as a visiting professor at the School of Media at Yanjing Institute of Technology. Secretary General of the Franco-Chinese Association of New Cinema and member of NETPAC, he has also directed the Golden Tree International Film Festival. He produced The Elevator, the first short film co-produced between France and China, selected for several international festivals, including Cannes and Clermont-Ferrand. Every year, he programs experimental works with Traverse Vidéo Toulouse and Courant 3D. He also coordinates Asia Film Week and the Global Student Film Workshop. He organizes exchanges, masterclasses, and retrospectives with Asian filmmakers, including tributes to Wim Wenders and screenings of films that have been recognized at Berlin, Cannes, and Locarno.
