Frédéric Ambroisine

Frédéric Ambroisine began as a film critic in 1999 on the DVDrama website, then collaborated with specialist magazines such as Mad Movies and Kumite. In 2003, he became a consultant and documentary filmmaker for French distributors. In 2009, he directed the documentary FICA: From the Near to the Far East. Since then, he has shot several hundred bonus features, mainly on Hong Kong cinema. In 2024, he is designing a major exhibition in Lyon dedicated to Hong Kong cinema. He is currently developing a documentary on Hong Kong director Li Han-hsiang and will distribute unreleased classic Hong Kong films from the 1980s in the West.
