Eithne O'Neill

Eithne O'Neill is an author and member of the editorial board of Positif. A lecturer in cinema, translation, and literature at the University of Paris XIII, she has published several books, including Stephen Frears (Rivages, 1994), Lubitsch. La Satire romanesque with Jean-Loup Bourget (Stock, 1988), Chemins faisant. Poèmes Poèmes (Elzévir, 2010) and Le Voyage de Chihiro (Vendémiaire, 2019). She has contributed to numerous academic publications on American, French, and European cinema. A member of the FIPRESCI jury since 2007, she is also involved with SFCC and Film d’Histoire. A member of SPAF and An Ghaeltacht-sur-Seine, she supports the promotion of Gaelic and Irish culture. She is the president of the critics' jury.
