Christophe Calame

Christophe Calame is an honorary professor at the Haute École Pédagogique de Lausanne (Switzerland), where he taught philosophy and pedagogy. In his youth, he studied oriental languages, Buddhism and guided groups in Ladakh (India). After entering teaching, he cultivated the memory of great travels by regularly watching Asian cinema. Having retired to Paris, he is a member of the Société asiatique and the Amis du Musée Guimet, among other scholarly and cultural associations.
