Chantal Perianin

Chantal Perianin has been a festival-goer in Vesoul for several years. Japanese animated cinema, thanks to Isao Takahata and Hayao Miyazaki, was her gateway to Asian cinema. The most famous Japanese directors (Ozu, Kurosawa, Imamura) followed, as well as the less classic ones (Kitano). Her curiosity has never left her and, on the contrary, has expanded to other countries and other types of cinema such as those of Hong Kong, Taiwan and Korea. Today, thanks to the FICA in Vesoul, Chantal enjoys discovering the wealth of cinemas on a continent that stretches from Europe to the Far East.
