Aloÿse de la Faye

Aloÿse de La Faye holds a Master’s degree in international relations from Inalco and a Master’s 1 in Burmese. She also studies at the University of Foreign Languages ​​in Rangoon. Enthusiastic about the 7th art, she participated for the first time in FICA as a jury member for the Inalco Prize in 2007. She lived in China for twelve years where she was in charge of cultural issues at the French Embassy in Beijing. She now works in the cultural diplomacy department of the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs. A regular participant in FICA, she is passionate about the cinematographic expression of social and artistic issues in Asia.
