Park Chur-woong est diplômé de l’Université Han-yang. Il a étudié à la School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Pendant ses études, il a réalisé des courts-métrages The End of Brown Line en 2000 et Chicago out of sync en 2001. Where are you going ? est son premier long métrage de fiction.
