Cho Chang-ho est né en 1972 à Hangcheon. Il étudie le cinéma au Seoul Institute of the Arts. Il débute comme assistant de Yim Soon-rye, Kim Ki-duk et Byun Hyuk. En 2002, il tourne son premier court métrage, A Little Indian Boy. En 2005, il réalise son premier long métrage, The Peter Pan Formula. Another Way est son quatrième long métrage de fiction.
