Gloaming in Luomu

In Luomu, a quaint town almost unaffected by the passing of time, - unspoiled by mass tourism and small enough to be walked through in - thirty minutes, Bai arrives in a guest house with a postcard sent by - her ex-boyfriend Wang three years earlier, bearing the mysterious - words 'Gloaming in Luomu'. While she goes through the town with - the card in her hand, she finds traces of Wang in different places. Her - plans for a short, peaceful stay are quickly disrupted by the locals and - visitors: Liu, the owner, a discreetly charming lover of wine and philosophical - conversations, her boyfriend Huang and her drink associate, - Peng. As the search for Wang unfolds, the film slows down, inviting - silence, observation, waiting.
