Hae-Joon, an experienced detective, is investigating the suspicious death of a man on a mountaintop. Almost immediately, he begins to suspect Seo-rae, the dead man's wife. She does not seem at all shaken by her husband's demise and her behaviour is so surprising for a widow that the police treat her as a suspect. Hae-joon interrogates Seo-rae. And while she is placed under close surveillance and he is observing her every move, he gradually feels drawn towards her.
