Pig at the Crossing

Dolom, 29, a passionate YouTuber and recently appointed teacher at a Bhutan school, spends a night with Deki, 32, a married woman. When she discovers she is pregnant, Dolom devises a plan to conceal their affair and protect his reputation. On his way to meet Deki, Dolom has a motorcycle accident and wakes up in a strange and chaotic world. Gradually, he realises he is in fact dead. With the help of a mysterious guide, Dolom explores this in-between world and confronts his troubled past and the consequences of his actions. As time collapses around him, he must choose between righting his wrongs and relinquishing his attachment to his former life, or else remaining trapped in a dreamlike limbo for eternity. - 'I am on a lifelong journey to tell stories that explore the full spectrum of human nature, including the darker emotions that lead us into morally ambiguous situationsthe struggle to do what is considered right.' I'm fascinated by good and evil' and by the fact that it's possible to perceive the goodness in a character despite their morally questionable behaviour.' Khyentse Norbu
