While the whole family is celebrating Mercy Abbunag back home, the national bureau of investigations requests Mercy to join them for investigating the case of a new-born baby dumped into the dustbin of a plane. Mercy was on board of this plane.

While a police woman rigorously checks the testimonies and evidences gathered, Mercy goes through various organisms: police, hospital, refuge, media, church and social services. How can the homeland take care of this woman both guilty and a victim?

"The film not only examines Mercy's situation, but it also makes the inventory of the Philippines' social institutions. While they investigate Mercy's situation, we also investigate these entities, how they 're-victimize' a victim. We try to understand both why mothers abandon their children and how a country can be so little attentive to the fate of its workers abroad." Zig Dulay
