The school of an Iranian village at the edge of the desert, is shadowed by a tree. A jar of water is kept under the tree for the children to drink. One day, this jar starts leaking. The school master keeps asking for another jar, but he is aware it will take time to get a new one. One child tells the teacher his father could repair it. But his father refuses, pretending to be too busy... Pushed by his wife and son, he finally goes to the school and checks the jar. A large quantity of egg white is needed to repair the leakage, therefore the children go and get as many eggs as possible to bring at school the next day. This creates a rumour that the school master eats all the people's fresh eggs. To put a stop to this rumour, the teacher invites all his pupils to come with a piece of bread. The next morning, he gives each of them some fried yolks.
