Xilu Xiang (Little Cheung), is nine years old and works after school as a delivery boy in his father’s restaurant. Everybody likes him and he gets good tips which he shares with Fan, a young girl from the same age living in an illegal situation who needs to support her family. His parents are too busy with their own work to pay attention to him. His grand-mother and Ami, the Filipino maid, provide him with tenderness and understanding. He sometimes hears of a brother who was thrown out their house after he joined the Mafia. He decides to find him, which puts his father in a rage.
