Fourteen-year-old Mot Nak lost her father when she was only three years old. In the meanwhile her mother got HIV infected by her second husband. Her health keeps deteriorating and she now entirely depends on Mot Nak, the elder of four children. Given the precarious situation of the family, she is unable to study. Like many children from her village, she must earn her life by selling newspapers in Phnom Penh. This documentary portrays her during her daily work and shows the conditions of life of a family staying in the country.
