This is the story of Sharav's life, one of the most famous Mongolian painters. At the end of the last century, Sharav, a young monk, is introduced at painting Buddhistic gods. He quickly draws attention and earns the protection of rich patrons. "One Day in Mongolia ", his most famous painting and a original depiction of Mongolian daily life, is a scandal. He falls into disgrace and becomes a supporter of the revolution. The new rules will restore him after many years.
