Twenty-year-old Jess is a pickpocket in the church area of Qiapo. He steals wallets, gadgets, and jewels whose resale hardly gives him and his family enough to live on. He just stole a mobile phone from a woman who seems more preoccupied by a compromising video recorded in her phone, than by its cost. Ma.Grace Rosuello helps for Jess’s arrest. Policeman Domingo will take the young delinquent from Barangay clinic to the police station and to the fiscal court. We witness how human rights are violated and how corruption is almost naturally maintained in all these institutions. Jess will be freed though his guilt has been acknowledged; he is free to carry on his petty crimes, the only hope for him and his family to survive.
