Luisa Prudentino is sinologist, specialist of chinese cinema. Author of various articles and essays about it, she published in 2003 Le regard des ombres, her first book entierly dealing with contemporary chinese cinema. Today, she organises many festivals and conferences abour asian cinema and teaches history of chinese cinema at INALCO Paris, and Science Po Institute of Le Havre. Among her last contributions : The Chinese Cinema Dictionnary : China, Hong Kong, Taiwan (2019) and China / USA : Crossed looks inside cinema, in Questions Internationales (2020).
