Ghassem Hosseini was born in Sar-e-Pul, Afghanistan. He studied cinema at the Kabul University, where he met a few well-known directors. He collaborated with cultural services of ambassies : France, Germany, Sweden, USA, India and Great Britain. He also works with afghan television. He is director, scriptwriter, and producer of docuentaries. He was forced to exile from Afghanistan in 2021, because of the coming back if the Talibans.
