Jean-Michel Butel is ethnologist, se,nior lecturer at Inalco Japanese Studies department. His teaching relies on feature films and documentaries analysis. He participated tpo Jean Rouch International Film Festival and ean enthographic film Festival. He also is member and founder of the Fenêtre sur le Japon documentary Film Festival. The first edition took place in December 2021.
