Hayao Miyazaki was born in Tokyo in 1941. After econmy studies, and loving mangas, he starts working for Toei Animation in 1963. During twenty years, he is in-between artist, then key animator, scriptwriter and director. He founs together with Isao Takahatta Studio Ghibli. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest animation filmmakers.
